Richard trained and qualified as a solicitor in 2000 at Denton Wilde Sapte. He moved to Bird & Bird in 2001 and to Aldridge Parker in 2003. Richard joined Parker & Co in 2006.
Richard acts for both individual and corporate clients across a variety of industry sectors. Richard advises on all aspects of employment law, with a particular emphasis on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters including employment tribunal applications, contractual and policy documents, terminations and redundancy programmes.
Richard also has considerable experience in advising on the employment aspects arising from commercial transactions including share and asset purchases and the issues facing both customers and suppliers in the private and public sectors in initial outsourcing projects and service provision changes.
In addition, Richard also advises on corporate and business related immigration matters, such as applications for initial entry and extension of leave under the points based system, and sponsorship license applications.
